NEWS - Introducing . . . the Homemade Cooking Club!

Who doesn’t love a good club?  A group of people with similar interests, the anticipation of that regularly scheduled meet-up, and that cup runneth over feeling you’re left with after the event.  Well, what if I told you that you could be a part of the Homemade (Virtual) Cooking Club?!

Homemade Pasta

That’s right!  We piloted and posted a virtual cooking club with Chef Joel for the month of May.  The club is to meet every Tuesday in May and will be cooking along with Chef Joel making a variety of dishes, starting with handmade pasta.  We limited the capacity to 50 members and guess what . . . it sold out in less than 24 hours!  We were blown away!  So, we hear ya, virtual cooking clubs are what the people want.

Virtual Club Meeting

We know it’s not the same as cooking together in a brick and mortar kitchen but cooking online with a dedicated chef and an eager group of foodies can be a blast - and you guys seem to agree.  So, if you missed out on the Pasta (Virtual) Cooking Club sign up, no worries.  And if you snagged a spot in the Pasta Cooking Club but want more, we gotcha covered.

Cinnamon Rolls

We’ve posted two more cooking clubs online for the month of May!  The Baking with Chef Ben Cooking Club will meet every Monday in May (excluding Memorial Day) - LAST CALL!  Throughout the series, he will be making Spiced Cinnamon Rolls with Cream Cheese Frosting, Individual Bruleed Citrus Tarts, Chocolate Eclairs with Vanilla Pastry Cream, and Strawberry Rhubarb Upside Down Cakes.  Registration is $49.99 for all four online classes and space is limited to 50 members so sign up fast!  The other is a Greek Feast Cooking Club with Chef Ryan!  Every Wednesday in May, she will be busting out some killer Greek inspired dishes.  Specifically, she’ll be making Orzo Risotto with Feta and Cherry Tomatoes, Chicken Souvlaki with Homemade Pita, Moussaka Stuffed Eggplant with Whipped Tahini, and Pistachio Honey Baklava .  This club is also $49.99 for all four classes and limited to 50 members, so hurry!

Greek Feast

So that covers May for our Homemade (Virtual) Cooking Clubs . . . but then what?  We’ve brainstormed a bunch of ideas but what we really want is your feedback.  What kind of online cooking clubs would you like to join?  Do you prefer to focus on a specific region you may want to learn more about?  Would you like a club where we focus on skills in the kitchen, honing your technique?  Or maybe cocktails, anybody wanna play bartender?  Let us know what kind of clubs you’d like to join, we’d love to hear from you!  Leave us a comment below.  We appreciate you and can’t wait to cook with you!
